Playing With Mommy's Shoe

Nolan loves to play with flip flops. He likes to check them out and carry them around on the carpet. He thinks it is so much fun!

He develops his muscles by lifting the flip flops up and down...what a strong baby!

We Went To The Zoo Zoo Zoo!

We went to the zoo, zoo, zoo! How about you, you, you?

We went to Brookfield Zoo on Wednesday with Suzi, Luke and Will. We saw Aunt Sarah, Liam and Henry there with their friends, and we saw Heather and Isabella there with their relatives. It was a hot, busy day at the zoo. We went to the dolphin show and rode the safari tram. We saw lots of big animals. We had a great day!

All three boys were exhausted by the end of our visit.
Nolan slept in his stroller and stayed sleeping while being transferred into his car seat and later into his crib at home...he slept for three hours! He was worn out from the sunny day at the zoo.
Pops and MoMo are on vacation in New York, so we went over to help with the pool cleaner. We took a dip before dinner, too. It was so nice to cool off in the pool after a long day in the sun!

A Night With Noni

We went to Noni's house on Tuesday night with Aunt Sarah, Uncle Xavier, Liam and Henry. We played for awhile and then went out to dinner. It was fun!

Swim Day

Yesterday was a hot, sunny day. So, we had a swim party with some friends at Pops and MoMo's house. It was a great way to cool off on a hot summer day!

Luke has become very confident and is a great swimmer!

He even showed us how he does the back float.
Nolan had fun hanging out with his buddy, Will.
He liked jumping in from the side, too.
Isabella and Heather were swimming and playing together.
Will chilled out in the water.
A great time was had by all!
Isabella and Luke loved the "little pool."
Nolan had fun swimming with Kristen.

Fun With Friends

Our friends, Liv, Andy and Campbell visited last weekend from Auburn, Indiana (near Fort Wayne). Andy's family reunion was in Barrington on Saturday, so they came to our house on Friday and stayed until Sunday. We had lots of fun together. Nolan loved meeting his new friend, Campbell!

Nolan went down the slide with some help from Daddy.
