A Sneak Preview

Here is a sneak preview of Nolan's Halloween costume...you'll have to wait a few weeks to see what he will be!

Peek!

Nolan loves playing Peek-A-Boo! He loves when people tiptoe around and say "Peek-A-Boo!" He seems to be initiating peek-a-boo himself by hiding and then looking up and laughing. Here are some pictures from Friday night!

Pickle

Mommy and Nolan had the flu during the week, and Nolan has not had the best appetite. It may be partly due to teething, too, since he has teeth that are just coming through and some that are half-way through. Nolan did not eat much for dinner on Thursday night, but he did eat two pickles, and he LOVED them! Those spears must feel really good on his gums!

Scooting Around

Nolan is moving around the furniture and is constantly on the go! He moves from the radio to his high chair and back to the radio. It is so exciting!

Happy Birthday, Liam!

We went to Liam's birthday party on Sunday. It was a beautiful day!
Nolan played with Noni in the sand table. Nolan and Henry had fun climbing on the outdoor toys.

Nolan happily figured out how to open and close the door which is one of his favorite past times.

Nolan and Henry went up and down on the teeter totter...
with the help of Daddy and Aunt Sarah.
Nolan found another cooler...

and invited Henry to check it out with him.

Nolan walked and crawled up and down the driveway and put a hole in the toe of his sock!
He loved the turtle push toy. It even had a hiding spot for his water cup!
Liam blew out three birthday candles!
Mommy and Nolan had fun at the party.
Grandpa held Nolan before going home to bed.
Happy 3rd Birthday, Liam!

Super Saturday

We had the busiest day today. It was Super Saturday for Daddy's St. Catherine softball league, and his team won the championship. Go Big Red! Mommy and Nolan watched three games today. Nolan had lots of fun at the baseball fields. It was a long day, and he was such a trooper!
Nolan is the Red Team's good luck charm...he saw four games this season, and they won every game!

He loved crawling around in the grass. Nolan crawled close to the left field line, so Mommy had to turn him around a few times to avoid baby interference!
Nolan had a great time pulling up on coolers and getting his own ice cubes.
He thought it was really cool!
Daddy was so happy when his team won the championship!
Here are the members of the Red Team.
Nolan ran the bases for the first time.
He was safe!
Nolan was filthy dirty from crawling around outside all day, so Mommy took him home for his second bath of the day before going to a family birthday party. He fell asleep on the short walk home from the park. Nolan was exhausted! We went to our cousins' birthday party...Rose is turning 8 and Ellen is turning 1! Nolan was pretty good considering that he only had one nap early in the morning, had been outside all day and is teething. So much for the second bath...Nolan was super clean in a new outfit and was filthy dirty within minutes of crawling around at the birthday party. MoMo gave Nolan a quick third bath in the sink at the party before putting on his jammies since Mommy knew he would fall asleep on the way home. Nolan didn't even make it that long...he was sleeping without finishing his bottle and snuggled with MoMo for a little bit before going home to bed.

Nolan stayed asleep while being transferred from his car seat to his bed and immediately rolled over into his sleeping position. This may have been the longest awake day of Nolan's life. He was truly exhausted!
Happy Birthday Ellen and Rose! We had a great Saturday with beautiful weather!

Baby Business

Nolan started his Baby Business class at the library today. He had lots of fun with the other babies (6-23 month olds) and mommies! We sang songs, listened to a story, had independent reading time, worked with stickers and sang more songs. After class, Nolan played with some toys in the youth section. It was a great morning! Nolan wore his first name tag and received his first sticker!

On another note, Nolan has three new teeth coming in. His top two middle teeth are halfway through, and another bottom tooth is on its way in. Thank goodness for tylenol, ice chips and frozen teethers...they are getting Nolan through this rough time!

All American Baby

Nolan is such a proud American, and he loves holding the flag. He held it off and on all week. He even held it while he was drinking his water! Nolan loves seeing flags and watching flags blow in the breeze.

Standing and Walking

Nolan stands for a good part of his days...he pulls up on everything. He just discovered that he can pull up on his giraffe toy!
He is confidently moving from one toy to another. He loves the football on his sports toy!
Nolan uses a push toy to move around, too. This is a short glimpse of Nolan in motion!

Playing Peek-A-Boo

Nolan loves playing peek-a-boo! Here is a video of Mommy creeping around the corner. Nolan laughs every time!

Chicken Parm

Nolan had Mommy's chicken parm for dinner tonight. He loved it so much and was wearing it all over his face. It was a delicious mess!
