Silly Nolan

Nolan was so silly today. He wanted to wear his cars pajamas and three bibs all day! Nolan picked three bibs out this morning for breakfast...two car bibs and one train bib.
He insisted on wearing them all day long...except for during his nap.
After Nolan's nap, he insisted on putting all three bibs back on.
He thought it was so much fun!

Nolan helped Mommy clean out her purse, and he found a tin of Altoids. He wanted to check out the tin...

and he loved the Altoids. He likes peppermint and ate some mints. He had very fresh breath!

Nolan wore all three bibs and pajamas all day. It was a good thing we did not have to go anywhere today.

Nolan has a silly new trick...putting his finger in his nose. Lovely!

He also likes to stretch like Pops!

Lake Katherine Nature Preserve

Nolan and Mommy met Heather, Isabella, Suzi, Luke and Will at Lake Katherine today for a fun nature experience. Nolan took off on the trails with his friends! He paused a few times to take it all in.

Isabella posed for a picture on a big rock.

Nolan was not too sure about the rock.

Isabella gave Nolan a hug.

Then, it was back to the trails and butterfly garden.

We went inside to the nature center. Heather showed everyone an alligator mouth. Nolan kissed it and ran away!

Nolan checked out snakes, turtles, bunnies and lots of other reptiles and critters.

He loved running on the trails.

Isabella and Nolan checked out the airplanes while Luke and Will took a bathroom break.

The waterfalls were so pretty.

We walked back up a big hill to our car and then went to a park for a picnic lunch.

Nolan had lots of fun with his friends. It was a beautiful day!

Feeding The Ducks

Mommy and Nolan went to St. Xavier University today to feed the ducks. Nolan was excited to see the sewer on our way to the pond... he stopped to check it out.
Then, Mommy opened the bag of bread for the ducks...and Nolan decided to feed himself. He must have been hungry because he immediately dropped Puppy to help himself to a piece of bread.
Eventually, Nolan decided to share his bread with the ducks.

The ducks were so excited and came right over.

Nolan had fun watching the ducks, bugs, etc. and taking it all in.

When we were leaving, ducks came across the pond to get Nolan's bread. He was so excited to share his bread his duck friends!

Friday at the Zoo

Nolan and Mommy went to the zoo with some friends today. Nolan was supposed to ride in the wagon with Isabella, but he decided that he wanted to push it instead... Mommy tried to put him in the wagon a few times, but Nolan wanted no part of it.
He liked the carousel...he held his garbage truck almost the entire time we were at the zoo.

Nolan needed to take some breaks since he did lots of walking around the zoo.

Nolan helped Katie pull the cooler.

He is such a good helper!

He really liked getting close to the animals...we saw lots of animals with our friends.

Nolan took another break while some friends were in the bathroom (working on toilet training). Mommy needed a break after carrying Nolan around the zoo when he did not want to walk.

Today was a perfect day for the zoo, and we had a good time with our friends!

Swimming With Friends

Nolan had some of his friends and their mommies over to Pops and MoMo's house yesterday for a pool party. He modeled his new life preserver swimwear...and his new garbage truck. There were lots of little swimmers.
Isabella, Will and Nolan had races across the pool. Luke was the starter in the "little pool."

They were all winners!

Nolan floated around in his boat.

Nolan showed his friends the baby pool while the mommies were getting the lunches ready.

Isabella was a great helper with the hose.

There was a meeting near the baby pool with all four friends.

Nolan called the shots!

He took a break to play with his cars.

Nolan and Will had fun with the screen doors.
