Shower Planner?

Mommy and Nolan went to a shower planning meeting on Friday night for Aunt Maura's upcoming bridal shower. Nolan had fun playing outside with Uncle Tim, Scott, Johnny and Alexis. They used their flashlights to look at nature in the night...so exciting!
Nolan had fun with Uncle Tim.
Then, the kids came inside to play with lots of toys.
Johnny and Nolan were doing somersaults...

Then, they played a game of pillows.
They were running, jumping and diving into the pillows!

Nolan helped with the important details of the shower! He was quite an integral participant at the meeting!

Brave Truck Driver

Nolan was driving his truck and talking on his cell phone at the same time. Later, he stood on his truck.

Nolan is so cautious...Mommy was surprised that Nolan was so brave.
Sitting is definitely safer...Nolan is usually all about safety.

Fun and Run

Mommy, Nolan, Pops and MoMo went to the WTTW Chicago Fun and Run in Lincoln Park on Sunday morning. Nolan eagerly waited to meet some of his furry friends from Sesame Street. Puppy waited nicely, too.
Nolan was so excited to see Grover.

He even touched his nose!
We waited forever to see Elmo...Nolan was really excited!
We had a quick drink and then went to Church at Holy Name Cathedral.
Nolan took a nap in the car and was ready to read books with Pops when he woke up.

Pops and Nolan looked at old family pictures in frames...Pops told Nolan about all of his great, great, great, great grandparents.
They were so sweet.
Nolan hopped on Pops for a game of knees!

Then, it was time to read books again.
Nolan visited with a neighbor's dog before getting ready to go home.
He pulled his lawnmower and cart around outside.

Nolan played with sidewalk chalk and put it in the digger truck.
He went for a ride in his car.
He stopped to fill up the gas tank.
Nolan is a great helper with the lawn (and cement).
Nolan again took advantage of the open fridge and chose to stand on the bottom ledge.

Hmmmmm...so many good choices!
Nolan ate dinner outside and then played in the sand table.
He played on the slide.
He loved big pushes in his swing.
Nolan demonstrated his kicking skills.
He played catch with his green ball.
He stopped for a drink of milk and some leftover grapes from his dinner.
He pushed his cart a little bit longer and was ready for a bath, books and bed.
We had a fun, busy Sunday! Thanks Pops and MoMo for a fun morning downtown!
