The Sink Baths Begin...

Nolan took a few baths in the sink over the weekend and had a great time splashing in the water! He ran upstairs to his room and read some books.
He kept running away when it was time to get a diaper and jammies on.
Daddy caught Nolan!
Nolan took his basket of blocks and dumped them on the floor.
Then, he put the basket on his head!
Nolan is so much fun!

Nolan's Personal Cleaning Tools

Nolan is such a good cleaner, so Mommy decided to get him his own cleaning tools. Nolan is now the proud owner of a Dirt Devil vacuum and a broom/dust pan! Life is great!

Nolan also had pudding for dessert last night, and he was much tidier than last time!

Mommy's Little Cleaner

Mommy was cleaning today, and Nolan was very eager to help. He loves the Shark hand vac. He knows just what to do with it.
Nolan gets in those hard to reach places.
He amused himself for a long time in the kitchen. He held three cups...he would be a great server at a restaurant.
Nolan played with tupperware and other kitchen utensils.
He likes to nest them and pretend they are drums.
He played with the tea kettle, too. It added a new noise to the mix.
Then, it came time to vacuum.
The vacuum is Nolan's favorite cleaning tool!
He likes to inspect the vacuum.
He LOVES to play with the attachments.
Nolan is getting trained young...he is a super cleaner!

Uncle Bill's Helper

Uncle Bill came over yesterday to fix some outside lights and a few other outdoor odd jobs. Nolan loved hanging out with Uncle Bill! He took a long nap during most of the work, but he woke up just in time to help hang his new steering wheel on his swing set. Nolan was very interested in Uncle Bill's work.
Uncle Bill consulted with Nolan to check the steering wheel.
Nolan liked Uncle Bill's tools.
He helped clean up.
The finished product...Nolan is going to take us on some great adventures!
Thanks so much, Uncle Bill! We had a fun afternoon with you!

Self-Feeding

Nolan likes to use a spoon to feed himself. He loves to practice. He practiced with chocolate pudding today. He started out a little messy...

and ended up messier than he has ever been. Nolan looked like he had a chocolate beard! He needed a full outfit change (he was wet from the slide water, too) and a major wash with the face cloth. Practice makes perfect!

Nolan's New Ride

Nolan had lots of fun playing outside today. He has a new Cozy Coupe that he was going to try out for the first time, but he chose Daddy's golf club over the new car. He LOVES to push things around (golf clubs, baseball bats, sticks, etc.). He finally got excited about the Cozy Coupe...it is the 30th Anniversary of the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, so Nolan has the newest special edition! It is so cute!
He immediately started turning the steering wheel.
Nolan loves his new ride and had a great time driving outside!
After riding in his car, Nolan discovered some leftover rain at the bottom of his slide. He had lots of fun splashing.
He liked drinking, too.
He even took his paci out to dip it in the water...yuck! Nolan is definitely working on eating a bushel of dirt!
He climbed on his picnic bench...
and sat at the table.
Then, he climbed into his Cozy Coupe backwards!
This was all before lunch! He had a great day in the fresh air!

So Sleepy!

Nolan had his last library class yesterday and then ran some errands with Mommy. He came home, ate lunch and fell fast asleep in his high chair. He was so sleepy!

A Fun, Busy Weekend Outside

We had beautiful weather at our house yesterday and today. So, we spent the days outside doing some major spring cleaning and getting Nolan's new outdoor toys ready for the warm weather! Nolan likes his new picnic table set. He golfed in the yard.
He checked out his cool picnic set and awesome umbrella...it is the cutest!
Nolan hung out with MoMo early on Saturday morning while Mommy and Daddy cleaned out the garage. MoMo took Nolan for his first bike ride!
He is such a big boy!
Nolan had fun with the hose while Mommy cleaned the patio.
He was soaked from the puddles and water...and LOVED every minute of it!
He discovered the hose.
He thought it was great!
Nolan investigated the spray gun.
He helped Daddy test the lawn mower...we are ready to cut the grass!
Nolan checked out the lawn mower a little closer and even tried to climb up on it.
He played on his swing set and held onto his bubbles.
Just before going inside while Mommy and Daddy were finishing up a few things outside, Nolan decided to help himself to a drink from the hose...
Nolan was soaked and muddy. He went straight to the tub for his second bath of the day. He put on a warm, footed sleeper, ate some dinner, read some books and went to bed for the night. The fresh air did Nolan in (Mommy and Daddy, too)!
