A Special Halloween Delivery

Nolan received a special package from St. Louis! Jack and Henry sent him a special Halloween flashlight with different shapes to put on the light. He loves it and immediately tried it out on the ceiling, door, floor and walls.
Thanks Jack and Hen for your special delivery! Nolan is having fun with his flashlight and can't wait to use it on Halloween!

New Shoes

Nolan and Mommy took a ride to the Aurora outlet mall to go to the Stride Rite store. Nolan had one pair of shoes that fit, and they are very worn summer shoes. The cooler weather is just around the corner, so he was in desperate need of new shoes. We arrived before the mall opened, so Nolan rode on a bus and digger while we waited. It was his first time on a ride.

The Stride Rite store is great! We are set for awhile with size 8.5 extra wide gym shoes, dress shoes for the holiday season and snow boots for the winter. It was well worth the ride!

Rompers!

Nolan has tons of rompers. He is in the biggest size they make (24 months). Mommy loves the rompers and is sad that this summer will end Nolan's romper fashion statement. Nolan spent much of his summer wearing rompers and playing outside in the backyard!

Imagination!

Nolan has quite the imagination these days...he loves to play with his stuffed animals.

Reading The Sunday Ads...

He had lots of fun making a big mess and putting the papers in the recycling bin!

Grandpa O'Shea Memorial Golf Outing

We had the Grandpa O'Shea Memorial Golf Outing today. The party was at Uncle Tim and Aunt Jean's house.

Nolan was excited to see cousin Bill's big rig truck.It was just like the trucks in his books.

Nolan checked out the back of the truck with cousin Kevin.

He tried on Kevin's big White Sox hat.

Nolan pushed Ellen's baby doll on the tricycle.

He was so excited to play in the big house.

He climbed up and down the slide.

Nolan talked on the phone, too.

Nolan had so much fun with his cousins!

Dave had fun checking out the bigger cousins.

Ellen, Nolan and Dave had a meeting for the under two-year-olds at the party.

Nolan Loves Fall!

Nolan and Mommy decorated our house for fall! Nolan loves the fall decorations! He kisses and hugs the scarecrows every time he goes outside. He is so sweet!

Happy Labor Day!

MoMo took Nolan to a fishing party in the forest preserve on Labor Day morning. Cousin Dave was waving hi to everyone.
Ellen and Nolan shared some trucks.
Nolan had fun using his diggers in the dirt and grass.

Nolan was not too interested in fishing...but he was very interested in the garbage truck. He is definitely a city boy!

Mommy met Nolan and MoMo and the O'Shea clan at the party after working with a few families in the morning. Nolan was so sweet and ran across the field to Mommy.
