Three Months Old

Nolan is three months old! This picture is from his three month birthday on February 2nd. Nolan weighed in at 17 pounds and measured 24 inches. He is so alert and curious as he is always looking around and checking out his surroundings. We love our little miracle!

More Friday Night Fun

Before going to bed on Friday night, Nolan decided that he wanted to go out.
He borrowed Daddy's cell phone and the car keys!

Friday Fun

It is freezing cold and super snowy at our house, so we made the most of a Friday indoors. Nolan's day started out with a bath. He outgrew the hammock part of the bathtub-the water was staying on top of him instead of draining since his body covered the mesh holes on the hammock. So, now the hammock part is just a headrest and prevents Nolan from sliding in the tub. He sits on the seat. He loves his baths and is very relaxed in the tub. Notice his left arm as he hangs out while he gets cleaned. His belly is something else!
We did some exercises and then hung out in the family room. Nolan was very happy!
Daddy was pretending like Nolan was flying around...he loved it!
We tried out Nolan's exersaucer. He holds his head up very well. He really enjoyed it! He expecially loved the music/light part. Although we have the exersaucer on the lowest level, Nolan's feet don't touch the ground. So, we put a blanket underneath his feet for some extra support!
Nolan helped Mommy do the laundry...he is sitting with the towels!
Don't worry...Nolan didn't really go through the washer...he had his bath in the tub!
Nolan played in his cradle with his rattle and aquarium. He was kicking away!
Nolan ended his night with a dance party to the Juno CD. Mommy and Daddy love the movie and the soundtrack...there are lots of great songs. We had a dance party before going to bed!
That was our fun on a cold, winter Friday. We have lots of busy days coming up soon.
Stay tuned for more updates!

The Prunty Pout

Nolan has perfected "The Prunty Pout." This face is a trait of the three Prunty girls (Grandmo, Aunt Maura and Mommy). People say that all three girls occasionally make the same pout. Nolan is now a member of The Prunty Pout club! See his great faces below after waking up from cuddling with Mommy after his bottle!

Nolan's Baptism

Nolan was baptized on January 27th at St. Catherine's Church by Fr. Bill McFarlane. Our immediate family attended, and we had a celebration at our house after the baptism. We went to noon mass before the ceremony, and Nolan had enough by the time the baptism occurred. He was ready for a bottle and made it known to everyone at the baptism with his loud voice! There was one other baby baptized with Nolan...friends of friends of ours. It was a really nice ceremony. Nolan wore the O'Shea family christening gown made by Great Grandma O'Shea. Mommy and all of her cousins and their children were baptized in this family heirloom gown.
It was very special! We had a wonderful day with our family!

Stretching and Moving

Nolan is quite a healthy boy and has a great figure! He looks good in his Nike outfit, too!
He loves to stretch and move around.
Nolan is thinking about stretching...
But he would rather eat his hands!
Thinking about stretching again...
Yeah! Nolan is stretching!
He can even stand up with Daddy's assistance! Nolan is very strong!

Superfan!

Nolan is a University of Chicago basketball superfan! They even gave him his own t-shirt! Nolan went to the game against Emory on Sunday...and the Maroons won again!
