Our Gated Community

We now live in a gated community! Nolan is constantly on the move, so we had to put up gates near our stairs. Nolan pulled up on the gate going to our upstairs.

He turned around the corner to discover another gate going downstairs. What a bummer!


Nolan is getting used to his new, safe way of life at home!

Parish Picnic

We had our parish picnic on Saturday at Lawn Manor Park. It was fun! Nolan saw lots of neighbors and friends. He had fun with Michael Murphy.

He made silly faces for Nolan.
Nolan thought it was so funny!
They are good buddies!
Michael sang "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" for Nolan with some help from his Mom.
Nolan snuggled with MoMo.
He checked out his surroundings...

and was fast asleep for the night.
We put a sheet over the playpen to keep Nolan safe from bugs and critters. Nolan slept in the park for almost three hours before going home to bed for the night. It was a perfect night to sleep outside, and Nolan loved it!

Protecting the Crib...and Nolan

MoMo made a crib protector to save the crib and Nolan. We love it! Thanks, MoMo for being so creative and talented! The wood is safe from teeth marks, and Nolan is safe from eating materials that he should not be eating.

Nolan has tried to bite the crib a few times, but lately he seems uninterested.


He is more interested in moving around and pulling himself up on everything!

Nolan's Moving and Storage

Nolan is in the moving business! He likes to pull himself up on the kitchen bar stools and move them around the kitchen!

He likes to play at the fridge, too!



He still loves to check out the cabinets...although there are safety locks on them now which have ruined some of Nolan's fun!

Happily Standing!

Mommy went to get Nolan from his nap last Wednesday, and this is what she saw!

Nolan had pulled himself up and was standing independently!
He was so proud and happy!
Then, he sat down and was still happy!Nolan is getting too big too quickly!

Learning Table Fun

Nolan loves his learning table! He crawls to it, pulls himself up to stand and then plays for a long time! It is so much fun!

Standing In Bed!

Nolan has been waking up like this lately...

Then, he likes to crawl around his crib and attempt to pull himself up.

He goes back to his sitting position.
And then he lays down again.
Nolan looked for Mommy's fingers to get out after waking from his nap, and he grabbed the side of the crib.
Standing in the crib is so much fun!
Eating the crib is even more fun!
MoMo is going to make Nolan some protectors for the sides of his crib to protect the wood and prevent Nolan from eating unsafe materials.
We will need them sooner than later!
Nolan is getting so big! Mommy and Daddy can't even believe it! He just scooted from his learning table to another chair in the family room. Oh my goodness...he is growing too quickly!
