The Big Jumper

Nolan went to his friend Will's first birthday party on Saturday. It was a baseball birthday, and guests were invited to wear clothing to support their favorite team. Nolan wore his Sox shirt in support of the greatest baseball team in Chicago!

He had fun playing in the big jumper with his friend Joey Hull. Joey was baptized the same day as Nolan, and the boys are about one month apart. They may be classmates someday!

Happy First Birthday, Will! Go White Sox!

Ice!

Nolan loves ice so much and was so excited when he saw Daddy filling his cooler to take to work at the Sox game. Nolan checked out the inside...

and then reached into the cooler to touch the ice.
It was great! Ice at Nolan's reach...perfect!
He discovered the blue ice block, too. What an exciting find!

Fridge Farm

Nolan loves to play near the fridge, so now he can play with his Fridge Farm! It is perfect and keeps Nolan happy in the kitchen!

Nolan went on a Sam's Club shopping trip on Friday and was so happy to play with the diaper and wipes boxes.
He cruised around the diaper box and thought he was so cool!

Nolan's Bean Bag Chair

Nolan has a new bean bag chair with his name on it. He likes to climb up on it and thinks it is so much fun!

Nolan's Red Hoodie

It was a cool, rainy day today...a perfect day to wear a new hoodie! Nolan looked like such a big boy in his sweatshirt!

Nolan pulled up on the fridge.

He was so happy!
He helped Mommy cook some rice for dinner...yummy!
Nolan played with some boxes which is always great fun!
He stood up and pushed them around the kitchen floor.
And...he pulled up on the oven. He discovered the oven awhile ago and pulled up for the first time today. Yikes! Nolan is taller than Mommy thought when he stands near the oven. We better Nolan-proof the oven to keep him safe in the kitchen!

Fleece Jammies

It was very cool last night, so Mommy had an emergency washing of Nolan's warmer jammies. They seemed so big, but they fit so well! Nolan was nice and toasty in his new dino jammies!

Ten Months Old

Nolan is ten months old today! He is such a great baby; he is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything! He loves his newly discovered independence and exploring his environment! Nolan loves his toys so much, especially stacking blocks high and then crawling to knock them over. He is very into his books and his current favorites include Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, I Love You Through and Through and There's A Wocket In My Pocket. We read these three books ten times each day, and Nolan "reads" along with the stories. Nolan is teething and drooling a lot...he has his two bottom teeth and is waiting for more to come soon. Nolan is a champion eater and loves every meal that is presented to him...he has never met a food that he does not like! Mommy and Daddy hope Nolan's good eating habits continue as he gets older! It has been an exciting month, and Nolan is constantly discovering new things. He is very curious, and it is so much fun to see his wheels turning as he thinks about everything in his world. He is pure joy and is loved so much! Nolan weighs 25.2 pounds and is 28 inches long. He seems to be slimming down in his face and belly now that he is so mobile. His legs are still nice and solid which is just the way we like them!
