Swinging In The Fall

Today is the most beautiful fall day. There is not one cloud in the sky! It is perfect! Mommy and Nolan went outside to play, and Nolan had so much fun on his swing. It tired him out just before his afternoon nap!

Helping With The Leaves

Mommy worked in the yard this afternoon. Nolan loved watching Mommy use the trimmer and the lawn mower. He hung out in his stroller for awhile and then played in his swing while Mommy cut the back grass. He played in some leaves and crawled around in the grass. It was such a beautiful day, and we enjoyed our afternoon outside!

Nolan's Winter Coat

Nolan has a new winter snow suit, and Mommy wanted to try it on to be sure it fits. It seems to fit just fine, but Nolan is not too happy about wearing it. Nolan is such a hot guy, and he prefers as little clothing as possible. When he was putting on the coat, he made some really sad faces. We didn't even try the snow pants...they look like they will be perfect! The coat is somewhat restrictive, and Nolan did not care for that too much! He will get used to it when it is freezing cold outside! He took off his coat and looked in the mirror with his hat on...
He was probably wondering what that silly thing is on top of his head!

Kitchen Drawer

Nolan has so much fun playing with his "stuff" in the bottom kitchen drawer. Lately, he likes to take everything out and pretend to drink from the cups before he puts them on the floor. This really keeps him busy while Mommy is cooking or working in the kitchen.
Nolan moves from the drawer to the stove to the garbage cabinet.
It is so much fun!

Gym Class

Nolan went to his second gym class yesterday, and he had a blast! Mommy took these pictures at the end. He loved pushing this orange ball around and crawling after it. There were lots of fun things to play with, but Mommy didn't get any pictures. We will try again another day.

Zoo

Mommy and Nolan went to Brookfield Zoo with Heather and Isabella on Tuesday. It was a great day, and we managed to escape before the big rainstorm. Nolan loved looking at the animals, especially the elephants, hippos, rhinos and giraffes. We went in some of the houses, too.

Isabella and Nolan liked looking in the small windows at the snakes, lizards, iguanas and more! What a difference one year makes...Isabella will be two on November 12th and Nolan will be one on November 2nd!
Isabella and Nolan had fun eating lunch together near the penguin house.
Mommy and Nolan loved the penguins...Nolan was a bit tired. That was our last stop, and Nolan slept the entire way home!
