Go Villanova!

Our family friends, the Needhams, gave Nolan a Villanova Athletic t-shirt for Christmas (Megan goes to Villanova). Nolan loves his new shirt, and it fits perfectly! Nolan took kleenex out of the box this morning (with his tooth brush in his hand).

Nolan took lots of magazines out of the basket, too.

Nolan loves playing peek-a-boo and chase around the house! It is so much fun!

Climbing The Stairs

Nolan is getting really good at this...

He can climb while holding his hammer. Nolan is getting pretty brave and sometimes thinks he can stand and go down. We will keep practicing!

Future Coach?

Nolan sported his new University of Chicago sweatshirt at the basketball game today against Washington University (Uncle Kevin's alma mater). He held his toothbrush during the entire game. He had a great seat in the bleachers! Nolan was excited to see Pops after the game! Pops was excited to see Nolan, too!
Nolan played with puppy and Pops' playbook.

The team chairs were right at Nolan's level and perfect for licking and playing peek-a-boo!

Nolan picked up the playbook and shared some thoughts about winning with Pops!

Snow Day!

We woke up to LOTS of snow today, and it was not too cold. So, we decided to take Nolan for a ride in his new sled. It took a little time to get all bundled up. Nolan did not care for the snow pants and boots, but he was a good sport. Mommy promised that it would be a fun time! Nolan was strapped in, and we were ready to go.
It was great because there was lots of snow which made for a smooth ride!
Nolan took off his mittens and held his hammer the entire time he was outside.

Nolan liked the trees covered with snow. There was so much to see!

We stopped at Pops and MoMo's house to show them the bear sled in action, and Nolan thought he should stay for a visit. That was the beginning of the tears...

The tears lasted until we went back inside. We decided to let Nolan play for a minute.

He made his first snow angel!

After that, Nolan had enough and was ready to go in for a warm bath and a long nap.

We had a fun snowy morning!

First Game of the Season

Nolan went to his first basketball game this season today! We went to see University of Chicago vs. Milwaukee School of Engineering. Nolan took a road trip to Milwaukee and was a great traveler both ways. We went to the game in the late afternoon and then went out to dinner at a brewery in downtown Milwaukee. Uncle Mike, Mike and Timmy met us at the game. It was so much fun! Nolan sat on a lap during the entire game. He was such a good boy! He was so relaxed. He rested his feet on Mike's shoulders!
What a life!
After the game, Nolan ran around on the court with MoMo and puppy.

We had a fun day! We hope Nolan brings Pops some good luck at future games. We are planning on going to more games in the upcoming weeks. Nolan loved the game and day in Wisconsin!
