BBQ at GG's

When we returned home from Weaverfest, we bathed, changed and were back in the car headed for a BBQ at GG's house. Aunt Mar and Uncle Ron surprised Nolan with a cool new garbage truck! Nolan was beyond excited with his new truck. Aunt Mar knows Nolan well!
Nolan had a great time playing with GG!
He used her legs as a bridge for his truck.
Nolan checked out the neighbor's dogs with Aunt Mar.
He LOVES his new garbage truck and played with it the entire time we were at the BBQ!
Nolan used the bean bag board as a ramp for his truck.
GG sent the truck back and forth to Nolan.
Nolan played some bags, too.
Pops and Nolan both wore plaid shorts...being twins is so much fun!
GG's brother Uncle Gene was at the BBQ. Nolan had fun visiting and eating cookies with him.

Weaverfest 2009

Mommy's great Aunt Cel and Uncle Tom Weaver hosted their annual Weaverfest at their home in Moline, IL on Saturday. Most of the O'Sheas traveled to the quad cities for this annual family reunion. Our cousin Kate Weaver Walker was in town with her two daughters, Lucy and Molly, from New Zealand. The weather was great, and a fun day was had by all!
Cousin Dave took a nap on the table in the middle of the party.
Nolan played near the pool with MoMo and Pops. The pool is so much fun!
Nolan went down the slide many times.

Nolan had a great time with his cousins in the pool.
Nolan and Dave both debuted their summer Hawaiian shirts, so we had a mini photo shoot.

Molly Walker from NZ hopped in the photos, too!

Nolan does not like Aunt Maura to touch MoMo...he is VERY possessive of his MoMo (that is actually an understatement). Aunt Maura loves to egg Nolan on by saying "This is my Mommy, I love my Mommy," etc. which really gets Nolan going. Now he pushes her away from MoMo when Aunt Maura touches his MoMo. Aunt Maura always says that Nolan started it!
Nolan had fun playing with his cousins!
He fell fast asleep on the way to the hotel.
He slept like a champ in the pack and play in the hotel.
Nolan snuggled with Pops and MoMo in the morning before heading back to Chicago.
Thanks again to Uncle Tom and Aunt Cel for a fun party!

Banana Bread Baker

Nolan is quite the muffin man lately. He was so excited to help Mommy make some banana bread muffins tonight. He helped read the recipe and pour the ingredients.
He mixed and stirred.
He loves the measuring cups.
Nolan is a super baking partner and is so happy to help in the kitchen!

Truck Driver

Uh-Oh!!!

Mommy and Nolan went grocery shopping yesterday. It started raining when we got home, so Mommy unloaded Nolan and a few bags and then brought the rest of the bags in the house. Two packs of pop fell out of the trunk, and the cans were rolling down the driveway and into the grass that was just fertilized that morning. So, Mommy took a little longer to get in the house after picking up the cans. Nolan decided to start emptying the bags which included a carton of eggs. So, Mommy came in the house to see lots of cracked eggs.
Nolan pulled the bananas apart and dipped them in the egg yolk.
The produce bags were full of yolk, too.
Nolan took some of the produce out of the bags.

Nolan was so proud of himself...he is such a good helper!
Mommy and Nolan had a good laugh and then cleaned up a big mess!

A Visit With St. Louis Cousins

Jack and Henry stopped by Pops and MoMo's for a quick visit on their way home from Wisconsin. So, we had dinner with them on Sunday night.
Jack liked the umbrella, and Nolan liked the Dora cup.
Pops sat at the little picnic table.
Pops loves his boys!
Mommy saw a duck fly into the pool, so we had to go out and see it!
Jack, Henry, Pops and Nolan had doughnuts together on Monday morning.

Aunt Maura and MoMo played with the boys.
Pops read a story to his captive audience.
