Sunday Swim

Pops and MoMo had an impromptu Sunday swim to beat the heat! Nolan played cars and trucks with MoMo outside the tent. He played with GG at the table, too.
Nolan and Ellen eyed each other up in the tent.

Then, they kissed each other.

Within seconds, they were pushing each other and crying.

There were some sad faces and tears.

They calmed down and were friends again in no time.

Everyone lined the pool to watch the robot (vacuum) swim across the pool.

That was a very exciting end to our nice Sunday swim.

Baker

Mommy makes her early intervention families a big chocolate chip birthday cookie when each child turns three years old and transitions to school. Nolan loves to help in the kitchen, so he was excited to see the big chocolate chip bag come out of the freezer. He quickly pulled a chair over and went straight to work.

Nolan did a great job eating the chocolate chips. He did well with the measuring, pouring and mixing, too!

Cousins!

Nolan's cousins, Jack and Henry, came to visit this weekend from St. Louis. Nolan loved playing hide and seek with Jack. Boo!
They shared lots of toys.
Pops and MoMo gave Nolan a new garbage truck book.
Nolan was beyond thrilled! Pops and MoMo know Nolan so well!

Henry liked the book, too!

Pops and Nolan played cars and trucks.

Then, everyone moved to the family room to play with the ramps.

Henry and Nolan love playing cars.

Pops and MoMo had a party so that everyone could visit with Uncle Kevin, Aunt Kelly, Jack and Henry.

Ellen and Nolan played together.

They worked on sharing.

They played with Alexis and the Barbie toys.

The Barbie spa became a parking lot for the cars.

Dave modeled his new cap.

GG and Aunt Mar took the kids to the park.

The slide was lots of fun.

Nolan rode on the whale.

Henry joined him on the dolphin.

There was lots of running in the field...

There were a few games of Ring Around the Rosie...

and they all fell down!

Alexis took a rest on Nolan's red chair after returning from the park.

Dave modeled his cap in his diaper.

Dave and Nolan had a photo shoot in their matching monkey rompers.

Alexis and Johnny hopped in the photos.

Then, we had a photo shoot with all of the kids.

Dave was added, and Alexis held on to her brother for dear life.

Everyone sat so nicely on the couch!

We had a birthday cookie and cake for Uncle Kevin, Aunt Maura and MoMo.

Everyone helped blow out the candles.

Hooray for birthdays!

Jack shared his Thomas DVD with Pops, Nolan and Aunt Mar before he went to bed.

We had a fun weekend visiting with lots of family members!
