Block Party

Nolan went to his first Block Party on our block on Saturday. It was so much fun! We had fun games, an inflatable jumper, a band, a DJ and lots of other great activities. Nolan napped for a long time in the afternoon and went to sleep for the night at 7:15 even though the jumper, band and DJ were all at our house. He enjoyed the activities while he was awake. It was a beautiful day to be outside with neighbors and friends!

Daddy brought Nolan outside when he woke up...he was checking out the trees and everything that was going on in the street.

Nolan walked over to see The Bolts. They are a neighborhood band of four fifth graders and one sixth grader. They are so good! They played in the 4th of July Parade and at our parish carnival. They are also playing at the fall festival in Oak Lawn.
Nolan had fun dancing with the band!

Uncle Xavier, Aunt Sarah, Liam and Henry stopped by for a little bit.
There was so much for Liam to see and do!
Daddy and Nolan were watching some activities down the block.

Nolan sat in the police SUV. The bike safety police visited and gave out safety materials to all of the children. Nolan was napping during the fire truck visit. He can catch them next year!
We enjoyed dinner outside. It was lots of fun!
