Nolan's First Shiner

Nolan got his first shiner on Monday. He climbed up and stood on his changing table while getting undressed for a bath, and he grabbed the window blinds. So, Mommy held Nolan in one arm and pulled the blind strings with the other hand (while also tucking the cord so that Nolan could not get it), and he fell face forward into the window trim. Ouch! Nolan's cry was so sad, and his cheek immediately bruised and swelled. Nolan was very brave but was definitely in pain with this injury. Poor Nolan!
