Nolan had his MRI this morning. He had to fast for twelve hours, and we had to be at the hospital at 7:50 a.m. Nolan slept in after his long day outside yesterday and was very pleasant in the morning despite the fact that he could not eat or drink anything for breakfast.
We waited in a small room while the anaesthesiologists were prepping everything for Nolan. He was such a good boy!
The MRI of his brain took one hour. Mommy and Daddy were not with Nolan while he was being sedated but were able to be in the recovery area when Nolan woke up about 25 minutes after the MRI was completed. Nolan did really well and was such a trooper! He had some apple juice and graham crackers and was released from the hospital. He was waving to the nurses and was sweet as can be! We will get the results in three to five business days and will follow up with Nolan's neurosurgeon on May 27th.
Nolan was happy to have some water and a fiber bar when he came home from the hospital.
Mommy made Nolan a special peanut butter chocolate milk shake, and he loved it!
Nolan had some pretzels with Daddy...he enjoyed some of his favorite treats!
GG and Aunt Mar went to Pops and MoMo's house tonight to see Jack and Henry. We enjoyed a pizza dinner and lots of playtime.
The boys enjoyed a few rounds of Ring Around the Rosie.

Nolan snuggled with MoMo...they are best buddies!
Nolan had fun playing cars and trucks with Henry.
He also showed everyone how he plays "pillows" at Pops and MoMo's house.

The grandparents and grandsons enjoyed snuggle time before bed.
