Garbage Day

Nolan loves Thursday mornings because the garbage trucks come down our street one by one to collect the trash, recycling, and yard clippings. Nolan hears the truck noises from far away and runs to the front windows to wait for the trucks. He gets so excited and would go right through the front window if he could. The truck drivers come close to the window, wave to Nolan and honk their horns for him. Nolan was getting his diaper changed this morning when he heard the truck noises. Mommy barely fastened the diaper before eager Nolan quickly went downstairs to get ready for the garbage trucks. We waited outside, and Nolan was in heaven!
He watched and waited...
The truck came closer...
Check Spelling And then it was at our house!
Nolan was so excited!
The truck went to our neighbors' houses...
Nolan stood still and watched the truck go down our block.
He watched that truck until it turned the corner.
Then, we took our garbage can back toward the garage.

Nolan wanted to stay outside for a few minutes.
He LOVES to run around outside!
He chased some bunnies.
He pointed as they ran away from him.
The bunnies ran across the street.
It poured rain this morning, so Mommy put the flower pots out in the rock so that they could get watered by the rain. Nolan helped put the pots back on the porch.
He tried to lift the hanging basket up, too. He is so strong!
Thursdays in the summer are great days...Nolan loves the garbage trucks so much!
